The Rio Grande Down Syndrome Network (RGDSN) was founded to promote friendships and information sharing among families whose lives have been touched by Down syndrome.
Through networking opportunities and friendships, we proactively address issues of advocacy, accessibility and public awareness in educational, legal and political arenas.
The network seeks to promote the quality of life for individuals with Down syndrome and their families by fostering understanding, communication and a vision for the future.
Get involved, Be Inspired. Join us Sunday, September 21, for a day of family fun and festivities celebrating the abilities and accomplishments of New Mexicans with Down syndrome. RGDSN is proud to host its 5th annual Buddy Walk® in conjunction with the Carnuel Road parade.
Registration is $15 per person for family & friends and free for our honored guests, New Mexicans with Down syndrome. Registration fees include a t-shirt*, entertainment and a great day of fun!
Proceeds from the Buddy Walk allow us to provide scholarships to the NDSC Convention and fund our programs like the annual picnic and the Christmas party as well as monthly activities like our Teen/Adult Social, 5 & under Playgroup and Mom’s/Men’s Nights Out.
*The first 100 on-site registrants will receive an event t-shirt. A variety of sizes are available on a first come, first serve basis. All pre-registered participants are guaranteed an event t-shirt.
