The Rio Grande Down Syndrome Network (RGDSN) was founded to promote friendships and information sharing among families whose lives have been touched by Down syndrome.
Through networking opportunities and friendships, we proactively address issues of advocacy, accessibility and public awareness in educational, legal and political arenas.
The network seeks to promote the quality of life for individuals with Down syndrome and their families by fostering understanding, communication and a vision for the future.
Preparations for Buddy Walk 2014 have begun! We are currently seeking sponsors. If your business or employer is interested partnering with us, please send us the contact information and we will be sure to follow up with them.
Proceeds from the Buddy Walk allow us to provide scholarships to the NDSC Convention and fund our programs like the annual picnic and the Christmas party as well as monthly activities like our Teen/Adult Social, 5 & under Playgroup and Mom’s/Men’s Nights Out.
